Lutheran Hospice believes in providing each patient a comfortable, benevolent end-of-life. This begins with comfort within the body.
Our goal for every patient is to give them opportunities for activity and memory making with you and the rest of their family and friends. This means that we work to reduce pain without the patient feeling constantly drowsy.
We also work with each patient and their family on an emotional and mental level to bring a sense of peace and compassion. During this hard time, it’s important to continue to show dignity and respect to our patient and their wishes. We are also proud to give patients and families more moments for smiles, for reminiscing, and for living.
Though mom was in hospice care for just a few weeks, the loving and understanding she received as well as that extended to my husband and me was remarkable. We will forever be grateful for the help we all received.
