Whether you have an afternoon a week to run errands such as grocery shopping or you can donate your unique gift for repairing things around the house, our volunteers are as varied as our patients’ needs.
If you have a giving heart and a warm spirit, we welcome you to explore some of our volunteering opportunities for direct patient care. These volunteers provide companionship and support to patients and their caregivers wherever our patient may be. Perhaps you would like to be the rock and support system for family members during their end-of-life journey.
Lutheran Hospice also has opportunities in our office providing clerical and administrative needs. If you would like to use your skills or professional certifications to help others in hospice, choose to make a difference cooking meals for families, cutting patients' hair, or sewing comfortable pillows and blankets for hospice patients.
